These pieces are varied in their sound and styles. I am exploring the personalities of instruments and allowing sound itself to be in charge of the music.
My slogan of “taking notes where they want to go” is a real experience. Sometimes I want the music to take a particular direction, but something in it wants something else.
So I am always trying to sense where it wants to go.
